Background

In 2008, the Federal Reserve responded to a crisis by starting a process known as zero interest rate policy. The month they started the policy, I happened to have an appointment with a financial advisor. She told me that the new policy would only be for a month or two and interest rates would go back to normal.

Luckily, I knew she was wrong.

When the zero interest rate policy failed to solve the crisis, the Federal Reserve began using quantitative easing. The mainstream media began referring to the period as the Great Recession. Over and over again, the mainstream media kept saying that if the Federal Reserve didn't do quantitative easing that we would have a Great Depression. They claimed that interest rates would return to normal eventually, but these were temporary emergency measures.

A few years later, people saw more rounds of quantitative easing and zero interest rates. Seven years later, interest rates were still zero.

A psyop is a psychological operation. Some people tend to associate a psyop with lies or deceit because some psyops involve dishonesty. However a psyop involves a tool that applies how the human mind interprets and acts on information. Tools can be used positively, but they can also be sadly used negatively.

As we'll learn in this Curiosity, when we understand the details of a psyop, we can use these principles to positively influence our behavior.

This curiosity includes the brainlog, both full and partitioned RAGs, along with a summary, exercises and a 100-day experiment I tested. I also added meta lessons within both the summary and exercises so that you can see in real time me performing a psyop on myself.

RAG and LLM Details

In testing the full RAG and partitioned RAGs, I saw increased accuracy in answers when using the partitioned RAGs.

A-B Tests:

• Partitioned RAGs: 17/20 answers sourced correctly
• Isolated RAGs (using specific partitioned RAGs): 20/20 answers sourced correctly

I included these partitioned RAGs as well because some buyers may prefer some sources and not others (the third test in the above tests).
